About you
To succeed in this role, you'll demonstrate:
Relevant commercial success: experience in Financial Planning and Accounting (FP&A), Strategy, pricing, or another commercially analytical field, where you’ve delivered meaningful and quantifiable outcomes, resulting in commercial success
Industry know-how: ideally you bring experience in the payments sector as that will be a key focus of the role, but experience at a scaled ticketing platform, ecommerce brand or marketplace will also be highly relevant.
An AI enabled analytics pro: comfortable building reports and dashboards yourself, ideally with a working knowledge of SQL, Google Data Studios and experience with visualisation tools such as Looker or Tableau. You're proactive with incorporating AI into how you work - using it to speed up analysis, modelling, and reporting.
Commercially and strategically minded: a strong balance of natural commercial instincts with rigorous attention to detail
Comfortable with complexity: able to move between granular detail and clear strategic recommendations
Hands-on and low-ego: no task too big or too small - you're happy to roll up your sleeves and thrive in a flat structure where you're as comfortable executing a process, as you are running a strategic workshop with the leadership team
At Ticket Tailor, we’re passionate about creating a diverse and inclusive environment where people can thrive, be inspired, and feel comfortable to be themselves.
As a Certified B-Corp, we lead from the front, and with purpose, to disrupt the ticketing industry while ensuring we accommodate and celebrate people of all backgrounds along the way.
We believe that diverse teams enable us to have different perspectives and points of view, making us even stronger in achieving our goals. We encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply and join us on our mission.
The Process
If your application is shortlisted, then you will receive detailed information about the next stages of the process.
As an outline, the process will include:
An initial discovery call to learn more about you, your motivation, suitability for the position and to clarify any questions you have (15 - 30 minutes)
A remote interview with the Hiring Manager and another member of the Leadership Team (up to 1 hour)
A task, to complete in your own time to present at final stage (this should take no longer than 2 hours to complete)
An on-site interview with the Leadership team and wider team members
Timelines
We’ll review applications as they’re received and invite suitable candidates to an initial conversation on a rolling basis. The role will be advertised until 30th August. We encourage you to submit your application as early as possible, although we reserve the right to extend the advertising period if required.
A note on using AI in your application
You’re welcome to use AI to help structure, refine or proofread your answers. However, your responses should accurately reflect your own skills, experience and achievements.
If you’re shortlisted, you should be prepared to discuss and expand on your responses during the interview.
Bear in mind that hiring teams read a large number of applications. Responses that rely heavily on AI can sometimes feel generic, so taking the time to make your application personal and specific will help it stand out.
